Brian Gieseke
Planning Specialist
After growing up on a farm outside of Kilkenny, assuming I would become a farmer myself one day, I saw my parents expand their business acumen on the farm into owning a home appliance business. Watching and learning, as they scaled their business, I saw the day-to-day challenges of a small business owner trying to support their family, and how necessary it is to have a “go to” person in your corner for financial guidance. This created my passion for being able to help others navigate their finances.
I have been in financial services, both as an advisor and a banker, since 2010. I enjoy educating my clients on their options, and possible solutions, so they have confidence in the plans we build together. My expertise outside of retirement planning includes complex insurance solutions for estate planning strategies and business planning purposes.
I graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, with a degree in Economics, while also being a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society.
My wife, Leanne, and I have lived in New Prague since 2011 and have 3 children. We currently stay busy attending our children’s sports and arts activities including football, basketball, soccer, piano recitals and plays. I have a deep love of music, both listening and playing, as well as spending time with my father, ice fishing. I have served the last 2 years as Council Treasurer, and am a current council member, for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague. I have also been involved with Habitat for Humanity for over a decade.
